Fees & Services

Fees and rebates will differ depending on the nature of the service provided. Please note that Cody Boles Clinical Psychology is not a bulk-billing practice. The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a scheduled fee of $300 per 50 minute session. However, I strive to provide more accessible services and the scheduled fees are below this amount, at $245.
 

Most clients who seek support at Cody Boles Clinical Psychology have a Mental Health Care Plan or Eating Disorder Plan from their GP or psychiatrist, are plan-managed or self-managed NDIS participants, or have private health insurance. When you attend your first appointment, please bring your mental health care plan with you. Individuals with a mental health care plan can access up to 10 Medicare rebated sessions with a psychologist per year. Sessions can also be provided by telehealth modalities including phone and video consult for those who are unable to attend in person or reside outside of the Gold Coast.
 

To claim your Medicare rebate of $141.85 you will need to provide a copy of your current referral from your GP or psychiatrist and your current Medicare card details. Full payment of $245 is taken at the time of your session. Cody Boles Clinical Psychology will then process the Medicare rebate on your behalf. The rebate will be returned directly to your nominated bank account with Medicare. This usually takes 1 to 2 business days.

Individuals with private health insurance will be issued with an invoice after the session to claim their rebate directly from their insurer. Please check with your insurer about your eligibility for a rebate prior to your appointment. Individuals can also self-refer and pay full fee. Individuals with NDIS funding can provide their support co-ordinators details or speak directly with Cody about their funding availability if they are self-managed.
